Jason Stones Design is a one-man design company established and run single-handedly by myself, Jason Stones, offering solutions in web, print and graphic design.

I developed 'an eye for design', as I like to call it, back in 1999 during high school when I began graphical development on my first ever website alongside a friend. Ever since, I have slowly taught myself and developed the technological know-how to realise good design, purely from personal experience accumulated over the course of eight years.

JSD, my newest public design venture, began last October, born as a result of increasing interest in my design talent. Having graduated from Keele University last year with a double honours degree in Computer Science and also Business Administration, I decided to retain my business knowledge and couple it with existing experience in computing to produce a worthwhile personal venture called JSD.

Now studying for an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Manchester, JSD is a sideline to my current studies. It was initially developed as a viable freelance alternative to formal part-time employment during the winter months, a time that always proves difficult for students seeking temporary work. Several months later, it has proved a success to celebrate; but an overnight success story it is most certainly not. JSD has been years in the making - it is the result of eight steady years of casual experience in web development and graphic design. By thinking local and keeping my head straight, I have gained the confidence of several clients over a single period of freelancing.

My freelancing experience to date with JSD has shone a torch into a target area in the market for web design. By finding my needle in the hectic design haystack, I have realised the need for web design by small firms that cannot afford the full cost of hiring a workforce-heavy professional design agency to provide them with a well-designed graphics solution. By undercutting the top dogs, I am able to provide a bespoke design service at an extremely competitive rate. I have met local clients for informal discussions about their design needs before providing them with a full, professional design service to suit their requirements in web, print and graphic design.

I hope that's answered your initial questions about the purveyor of fine quality websites and design services that is JSD. Read on, or drop me an email to jasonstonesdesign [at] googlemail [dot] com if you have any outstanding queries.

Answering your call for good design is what this is all about.
